Several of our supporters have set up Facebook Fundraisers in honour of their birthdays or as a special challenge to their friends.

For example Michael’s fundraiser was a challenge to raise money for Global Strides and if he reached that goal he would cut his hair.

Sustainable Birthday Party

 Floral asked all of her friends to bring a donation for Global Strides Charity to her party in lieu of Birthday Presents. Each year she told her friends that she was supporting one of the orphans at the Peaceful Home. Over the years she has donated over $300.00.

When Board members visited the orphanage in 2017 they took a letter and some presents from Floral for the children.

Payroll Deductions

Each year, millions of dollars are donated to charities through United Way workplace giving campaigns. Workplace giving is an easy and efficient way to make tax-deductible donations to charities through payroll contributions.  Chances are that if you work at a corporation you’ve had the opportunity to participate in one of these programs.

While some of our supporters choose to support us through monthly donations, other have set up payroll deductions through their employers.

Global Strides Charity is a registered charity to whom you may wish to have your payroll deductions directed.

Vintage Wine Cellar Donation
